Job Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the Psychiatry Clinic. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling and booking patient appointments, receiving and registering patients, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and book patient appointments and follow-up appointments, ensuring that appropriate dates, times, and locations are provided to patients.
  • Receive and register patients upon arrival, ensuring that patient demographics and information are complete and accurate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including data entry and log sheets.
  • Perform referral functions, including screening for information, gathering additional information, and sending out patient questionnaires.
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including answering telephones, responding to inquiries, and greeting patients and families.

Requirements

  • Grade 12.
  • Two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
