Business Operations Manager

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to oversee the business office functions, including reception, administrative support to the Administrator, and processing accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the business office functions, including reception and administrative support to the Administrator.
- Process accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
- Employee benefits administration.
- Resident trust accounts and banking.
- Establish and maintain business files and records.
- Contribute to the quality management program for the business office.
- Ensure all legislative requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in accounting, business administration, or bookkeeping.
- Experience in a computerized environment and ability to learn new software.
- Knowledge of business office systems.
- Working understanding of banking practices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English and follow oral and written directions.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Experience in a long-term care home preferred.
Skills:
- General accounting, payroll, and advanced computer skills.
- Conflict resolution.
- Cooperative team player in a busy multi-task environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and organizational skills.
- Initiative, good judgment, and supervisory abilities.
- Understanding and empathy for the needs of seniors and/or the disabled.
