Experienced RPN Required for Long Term and Acute Care Facilities

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in a variety of long term and acute care facilities in the Unionville area.
This role offers above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation, as well as consistent hours and a set schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an RPN.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- Ensure timely and accessible admission for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and services offered.
- Ensure safe and timely resident transfers and discharges.
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements:
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
- BLS Certificate.
- Valid First Aid & CPR.
- Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) and negative TB skin test within one year, as well as Hepatitis B.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work flexible shift times, including eight or twelve hours in length, and 'float' from unit to unit within a hospital.
- Must be reliable and in compliance with the RhynoCare Healthcare shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
