We are seeking experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) for immediate hire in the Scarborough area.

As a Nursing Care Specialist at RhynoCare, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician orders, and resident plans of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs are met.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Ensure timely and safe admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent
  • Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation
  • Medical Clearance (including TB tests)
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check
  • Clear Criminal Record check
