Tile Setter

MCM-D'Lusso Construction is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing tiles in place and applying pressure to affix them to the base.
Key Responsibilities:- Set tiles in place and apply pressure to ensure a secure fit
- Align and straighten tiles to achieve a professional finish
- Prepare tenders and quotations for tile installation projects
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
- Instruct apprentices in tile installation techniques
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Supervise other workers on tile installation projects
The Tile Setter will work in a fast-paced construction environment, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail. The ability to distinguish between colors and excellent hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in tile installation
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Reliability and dependability
The primary language of work is English.
Work Hours:The work hours are 37.5 hours per week.
