Job Title: Tile Setter

MCM-D'Lusso Construction is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing tiles in place and applying pressure to affix them to the base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for tile installation projects
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Instruct apprentices in tile installation techniques
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Supervise other workers on tile installation projects
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and maintain attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination and excellent oral communication skills

  • Accurate and dependable, with excellent judgement and reliability
  • Hardworking and willing to relocate for this position
