B2B Copywriter Job Description

We are seeking an experienced B2B Copywriter to join our growing marketing team at OpenTable. As a B2B Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling content specifically tailored for B2B audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including websites, landing pages, email campaigns, case studies, blog posts, social and paid ads, and sales collateral.
  • Create, edit and proofread copy and content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features, benefits, and unique selling points, and translate them into compelling messaging that resonates with B2B audiences.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Optimize copy for SEO to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to our digital properties.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B copywriting, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality content that drives engagement, conversions, and brand loyalty.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and buyer personas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize among competing priorities and set expectations across teams.
  • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of B2B SaaS-focused copywriting samples.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with or in restaurants is a plus.

Salary Range: $31.00 - 33.65 CAD/hr.
