About the Role:

  • As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 employees and ensuring that they meet their sales targets.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • In addition, you will be required to handle customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff
  • Sell merchandise and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Authorize payments by cheque and oversee payroll administration
  • Conduct performance reviews and supervise office and volunteer staff

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable and organized with excellent time management skills
