Job Summary

The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the role of Program Head, Bachelor of Education. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of education policy, program development, and faculty management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Bachelor of Education program, ensuring alignment with government education policies and standards.
  • Lead a team of faculty members in the development and delivery of high-quality educational programs and courses.
  • Collaborate with the Chair, School of Education, to ensure effective program management and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with institutional partners and stakeholders to promote the program and secure funding opportunities.
  • Ensure program accreditation and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to faculty members in curriculum development, research, and program evaluation.
  • Monitor and report on program performance, including student progress, faculty issues, and program delivery.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in education program management, faculty leadership, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful education programs.
  • Strong understanding of education policy, program development, and faculty management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
