L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Security Specialist to support the execution of all facility security functions, including daily security operations, personnel security, program support, physical security, information security, document control, badging, and access control.

This role requires a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of comprehensive knowledge in the discipline of Industrial Security and the ability to develop, strategize, and manage internal security program policies.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in Security with relevant exposure to Controlled Goods, Export Control, and Industrial Security, and must hold or be eligible to hold an Industrial Security Clearance to the level of NATO Secret.

The Senior Industrial Security Specialist will provide clear and timely guidance and assistance to company personnel and employees on all security-related matters, support the company and its employees to ensure compliance with the Canadian Industrial Security Program, Contract Security Program, Controlled Goods Program, and the ITAR, and ensure compliance with all physical and intangible security requirements of the company Corporate Security Policies.

The role also involves managing access controls and camera systems, ensuring that all employees and visitors are compliant with security requirements, and developing and enforcing general and site-specific security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.

The ideal candidate will be a team player, exhibit flexibility, set priorities, and manage customer expectations in a fast-paced environment, and have experience working with internal and external customers or Government security officials in performance of security duties.

The Senior Industrial Security Specialist will also be responsible for providing required training for employees regarding security matters, developing and administering Crisis Management Plans (CMP) and emergency response plans, and supporting the company's Business Continuity Program.

The ideal candidate will have a global perspective of industrial security and that of defense contractor security, risk assessment, security investigations, Insider Threats, Crisis Management, controls, and protocols related to International Security requirements for customer compliance Export Controls and the International Traffic in Arms regulations (ITAR).

The Senior Industrial Security Specialist will also be responsible for interacting with internal and external customers or Government security officials in performance of security duties, and will have experience working with access control systems such as SIMS.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have a good understanding of Cloud technology.
