Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RACF Security Specialist to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and executing projects related to the RACF security function. Your advanced knowledge of RACF, ZSecure, and Mainframe infrastructure will enable you to work closely with other infrastructure teams and business-supporting technologists. Your expertise will be crucial in providing security guidance, engineering solutions, and coaching team members. Periodic on-call support and maintenance outside of normal working hours are required to address security issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide security guidance and engineering solutions for RACF-related projects
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams and business-supporting technologists
- Coach team members on security best practices
- Perform on-call support and maintenance outside of normal working hours

Requirements
- 7-15 years of experience as a RACF Engineer or Administrator
- Advanced experience with IBM RACF and IBM-ZSecure configuration/internals
- Programming skills in JCL, REXX, and CarLa
- Familiarity with z/OS utilities (TSO, ISPF, SDSF)
- Knowledge of database technology (Sybase, DB2, SQL)
- Understanding of zOS installations (Systems Programming, Storage, Networks, Unix Services, CICS, DB2)
- Ability to work independently, manage projects, and multi-task
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills and team player attitude
