About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Banque Nationale du Canada. As a Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist, you will play a key role in assessing and mitigating cybersecurity risks across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the cybersecurity risk posture of one or more business units and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective cybersecurity controls to ensure compliance with Canadian and international regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that risk considerations are addressed at each phase of a system's development and maintenance lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks through the implementation of security measures and the development of incident response plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to business leaders on cybersecurity risk management best practices and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement to senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information security.
  • 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on risk management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective cybersecurity controls.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian and international regulatory frameworks, including PCI, OSFI, and GDPR.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
