The Opportunity

As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of industrial goods in and within our branch or warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving goods into inventory, verifying contents against documents, and accurately inputting received goods into our computer tracking system.

The Role

  • Prepare packages for shipment, picking and packing goods as per customer and branch orders.
  • Ensure goods are shipped in accordance with organizational best practices and customer requirements.
  • Maintain Bills of Lading, book and arrange carriers for timely delivery of goods.
  • Stock shelves with received shipments, using the appropriate sorting/organization system and equipment, including forklifts.
  • File packing slips from suppliers and co-workers, print service and production documents as required.
  • Complete a daily forklift log.
  • Ensure the warehouse is always maintained in a clean and organized fashion.
  • Perform additional duties, including local pickup and delivery tasks outside regular warehouse duties as required.
  • Operate forklift and activities within the work area in a safe manner.

The Candidate

  • Education: High School, valid Forklift license/certification, valid driver's license, and must be insurable.
  • Work Experience: 1-2 years, previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge: Competent in Microsoft Office.
