Famoso Italian Pizzeria is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Bake mixed dough and batters.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
- Operate machinery.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a baking or pastry-making environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
