Job Title: Dental Orthodontic Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Dental Orthodontic Specialist to join our team at Align Orthodontics Edmonton. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of personalized orthodontic treatment.

Our company, Canadian Orthodontic Partners, provides support services to Align Orthodontics Edmonton and our national network of community-based clinics. We prioritize patient care and strive to deliver an enhanced level of service experience in our clinics.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive $45-$60 per hour hourly wage, comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and orthodontic coverage for employees and their families. Our benefits also include yearly CDA licensing fees covered by the employer, annual uniform and shoe allowance, educational reimbursement program, guaranteed shift hours, and eligibility for statutory holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Bring patients in for their visit with enthusiasm, building a personal connection at every visit.
  • Proficient in all aspects of obtaining digital and analog orthodontic records.
  • Maintain adequate orthodontic digital records under the supervision of an attending doctor.
  • Assist in the placement and removal of orthodontic fixed and removable appliances.
  • Activate fixed and removable orthodontic appliances under supervision and on instruction from the attending orthodontist.
  • Ensure patients receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and their goal for comprehensive oral health.
  • Possess great energy for a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

To be successful as a Dental Orthodontic Specialist, you will need:

  • An Orthodontic Module.
  • Dental Assistant experience.
  • Successfully completed CDA (Completion of NDAEB Exam).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, and an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
  • Great time management and organizational skills.
