The Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain test strategies for large-scale services and Mozilla products. You will build tools, processes, and systems that enable teams to have a robust feedback loop around quality, helping them understand code quality and product risk. Your expertise will guide teams in writing and maintaining automated tests, identifying gaps in test coverage, and contributing to building a healthy team culture.



What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in software automation engineering, with a strong focus on scalability and reliability
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and industry-standard automation tools, including pytest and JUnit
  • Knowledge of testing infrastructure setup, including CircleCI, K6, Docker, Lighthouse, Playwright, Locust, and GCP
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on data-informed decision-making
  • Able to navigate complex codebases and manage Git repositories


Bonus Points

  • Experience working as an SRE or DevOps Engineer
  • Rust programming language and ecosystem experience
  • Knowledge of various test methodologies and frameworks across programming languages

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
