Key Responsibilities- Research and analyze data to inform decision-making on natural resource management and environmental sustainability.
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement and communication plans to ensure effective collaboration with community members, stakeholders, and government agencies.
- Conduct social, economic, and environmental analyses and assessments to identify opportunities for climate change mitigation and sustainable land use.
- Liaise with various groups, including government agencies, industries, and community organizations, to advance natural resource development and environmental sustainability.
- Develop and implement mitigation plans, community engagement strategies, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental studies or a related field.
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and geographic information systems (GIS) training and experience.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Stó:lō culture, history, traditions, and language is an asset.
