Job Title: Internal Systems Technology Junior

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Internal Systems Technology Junior to join our team at Eramosa Engineering Inc. As an integral part of our Internal Systems Technology team, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, installing, and repairing all computer hardware and related peripherals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, install, and repair computer hardware and related peripherals
  • Maintain and support the office network, remote access, and provide other support as required
  • Configure, test, and integrate new hardware into our current system
  • Provide internal and external support, including corporate Smartphone management and rollouts
  • Assist in procurement, support, and implementation services as needed for our external clients

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of network and computer equipment
  • Knowledge of software: VMware, Hyper V, Ubuntu Linux, Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Outlook, and Outlook Exchange Server
  • Windows-based server architectures, including active directory implementations and cloud computing is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in a consulting firm and/or internal help desk support is considered an asset

Working Conditions:

The position is based in our Guelph office, but support is provided across all offices in Ontario, Alberta, and the United States. Knowledge of virtualization, including cloud-based services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, is essential as we develop and implement our corporate cloud-based strategies.
