Healthcare Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Resource Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of personal care and home support services to Home Care Clients. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to supervise and manage a team of Home Care Attendants, Home Support Workers, and Supportive Housing Companions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, orient, and schedule staff to meet client needs
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards
- Manage electronic employee/client scheduling applications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care
- Make decisions independently and use analytical skills to solve problems
Requirements:
- Proficiency in both official languages (English/French)
- Recognized post-secondary diploma or degree in a Health-related field or Human Resource Management
- Minimum one year experience as a Resource Coordinator
- Minimum one year supervisory experience in a unionized environment
- Working knowledge of Home Care systems and programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook
Working Conditions:
- Completes and maintains a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check, as appropriate
- Requires a valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00
