The Resource Coordinator is responsible for supervising and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of personal care and home support services to Home Care Clients. This role involves the recruitment, orientation, scheduling, supervision, and evaluation of Home Care Attendants, Home Support Workers, and Supportive Housing Companions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the delivery of personal care and home support services
- Recruit, orient, and schedule Home Care Attendants, Home Support Workers, and Supportive Housing Companions
- Evaluate the performance of staff and make recommendations for improvement
- Exercise independent judgment in determining work priorities and methods
Requirements:
- Proficiency in both official languages (English/French)
- Recognized post-secondary diploma or degree in a Health-related field or Human Resource Management
- Minimum one year experience as a Resource Coordinator
- Minimum one year supervisory experience in a unionized environment
- Minimum three years' experience in a healthcare environment
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
