Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and organized Facilities Attendant to join our team at the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors;
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas as needed;
  • Handle and report lost and found items;
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items;
  • Provide basic information on facilities and services;
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers;
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties;
  • Clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role;
  • Excellent oral communication skills are required to interact with students, staff, and guests;
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Judgement to handle sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality;
  • Organized and efficient in managing multiple tasks and priorities.
