Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at YUZU BOWL AND KITCHEN LTD. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure that all dishes are properly cleaned and stored.
- Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods, and preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items.
- Stock Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain an organized and efficient kitchen environment.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including appliances and work surfaces, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a high level of activity and noise.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
