About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at YUZU BOWL AND KITCHEN LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
    • Portion and wrap foods
    • Package take-out food
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Housekeeping
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • General Duties
    • Handle and store cleaning products
    • Sharpen kitchen knives
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
    Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment, and the ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
