Psychiatrist, Traumatic Stress Injury and Concurrent Program Specialist

Homewood Health is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our Traumatic Stress Injury and Concurrent Program team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide clinical psychiatric care to patients with complex mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the program team
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with traumatic stress injuries and concurrent substance use disorders
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Participate in hospital committees and quality assurance activities
Requirements
Specialist certification in psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPS) (C) or equivalent body acceptable to the RCPS (C) and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
3 years' physician experience in a similar role preferred
Experience with diagnosis and management of concurrent substance use disorders is preferred
