About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at GHD. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex environmental projects, including site characterization and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage senior project teams to deliver high-quality environmental projects, including site characterization and rehabilitation.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate and supervise technical staff, including project managers, engineers, and technicians.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure GHD's continued leadership in the environmental consulting industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Civil Engineering, or other related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on site characterization and rehabilitation.
  • Membership in professional associations, such as the Order of Engineers of Quebec or the Order of Geologists of Quebec.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
