About this Job:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room Department at Royal Inland Hospital.
As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide nursing care to OR patients, working independently and collaboratively with other healthcare providers. Your primary focus will be on enhancing quality of life for patients and their families, while also demonstrating continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in nursing care.
This is a permanent part-time (0.73 FTE) opportunity that offers rotating shifts with varying hours. You can expect to work days, nights, and weekends, including on-call duties. Our department operates 9 state-of-the-art theatres, providing services such as general surgery, trauma, ortho-trauma, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, and more.
As an Operating Room RN, you will circulate and scrub in various services, coordinating and overseeing patient care. We offer comprehensive orientation programs tailored to your experience, with ongoing support and teaching from resource nurses and clinical educators.
