We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server and Porter to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring the smooth execution of banquets and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up banquet stations, buffets, and service carts with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other team members to ensure seamless service and meet guest needs.
  • Clear and reset tables, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas.
  • Bus tables and ensure that all tableware, plateware, glassware, and flatware are properly removed and separated.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience preferred.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.

Working Conditions

This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, as well as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
