At Townsville Catholic Education, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Administration Officer to join our team.


This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-level administrative support to our school community.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Providing administrative support to the school, including reception, mail management, and data entry;
  • Assisting with financial transactions, including procurement, accounts payable, and accounts receivable;
  • Coordinating the dissemination of information to staff and students;
  • Supporting the delivery of tasks associated with community events and school functions;
  • Administering first aid as required;
  • Monitoring inventory for stationery and first aid supplies.

To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A minimum certificate level or higher qualification or equivalent relevant experience;
  • A current Working with Children Suitability Card;
  • First Aid certification or the ability to attain one;
  • Recent administration and/or reception experience in a school environment, highly regarded.
