Job Title: Floor Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Floor Care Specialist to join our team at Blair Holdings Limited. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our office building and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Stock Management: Stock linen closet and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Facilities Information: Provide basic information on facilities to visitors and staff.
  • Debris Removal: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls and ceilings.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.

Working Conditions:

  • Office building and rural area settings.
  • Commercial building and cleaning service company environments.

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
