About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced OCS Design Engineer to join our Systems Design team in Western Canada. As an OCS Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing detailed OCS designs for public transit rail projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop OCS layouts, profiles, hanger tabulations, and other deliverables.
  • Generate design reports for all phases of system design.
  • Produce Issued for Construction drawing and document packages.
  • Participate in the implementation phase of projects, including Installation, Testing & Commissioning, Cutover, and Record Drawings.
  • Author procurement specifications and manage vendors.
  • Interface with other technical disciplines, including Traction Power System, Comms Systems, and Trackwork.
  • Support the management of System Interfaces and creation of Interface Control Documents.
  • Lead technical interactions with clients, operators, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree + 6 years of relevant experience in OCS design for public transit rail projects.
  • Professional Engineer designation in Canada.
  • Driver's License.
