Academic Instructor: Queer Theories

OCAD University invites applications for a sessional instructor position in the Faculty of Arts & Science. The successful candidate will teach an interdisciplinary course on Queer Theories, exploring histories and theories of sexualities and the politics of representation.
Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver course outlines, lectures, and critiques
- Grade assignments and evaluate student performance
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Terminal degree in art, design, or relevant discipline
- Experience teaching at the post-secondary level
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Sessional appointments are fixed-term annual contracts. Compensation includes a per-course pay scale with salary level of $6, per 0.5 credit course) plus 7% in lieu of benefits and vacation pay.
Applications should include a letter of intent, curriculum vitae, statement of teaching philosophy, and a link to a digital portfolio of recent work.
