Front Desk Hotel Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at FOUR WINDS MOTEL INC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, handling reservations, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for our guests.
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, while maintaining accurate records.
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including amenities and local attractions.
- Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure optimal room utilization.
- Follow emergency and safety procedures, ensuring the well-being of our guests and staff.
- Clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, to support the front desk operations.
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, ensuring a pleasant and memorable experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Will train, but prior experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Permanent position, working 35 hours per week.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
