Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at FOUR WINDS MOTEL INC. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to provide top-notch customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account room availability and guest preferences.
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
- Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure seamless operations.
- Follow emergency and safety procedures, including first aid and fire evacuation protocols.
- Clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, as required.
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, providing excellent communication skills.
- Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Will train.
- Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
