About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Territory Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximize sales opportunities with existing customers and develop new market segments to drive revenue growth.
- Determine customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of the industry, pricing, and competition, and develop effective proposals to meet their needs.
- Participate in sales submissions and ensure timely follow-up with customers to monitor opportunities and projects.
- Position yourself as a subject matter expert in the market and build strong partnerships with key accounts.
- Analyze the competitive landscape, product dynamics, and market trends to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
- Produce regular sales reports, analyze variances, and revise sales strategies as needed to achieve results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the construction, siding, and steel products industry.
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the manufacturing, technical, and demanding customer base.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present value propositions and argue prices effectively.
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to execute deliverables and demonstrate autonomy.
- Intermediate English language proficiency.
