We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Security Operations Manager to join our team at Securitas Inc. in Cambridge/Woodstock, Ontario area. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets and people.

Job Summary

The Enterprise Security Operations Manager is responsible for leading the Emergency Response team (ERT) and overseeing all aspects of site security operations, fire prevention, and emergency response. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing environments and priorities.

About the Role

This position involves managing a team of security professionals, ensuring that all security operations and administrative directives conform to policies and procedures set out by TMMC, Securitas Canada Ltd., and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). You will be responsible for performing leadership and management duties, including administrative, training, supervisory duties, and workplace injury/illness reporting.

The ERT leader is also responsible for responding to emergency situations, conducting scene assessments, and coordinating with local emergency services as required. Additionally, you will conduct comprehensive handover briefs to oncoming team members, review emails and calendars, and maintain accurate shift reports and payroll documents.

You will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure that all security-related tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in this role, as well as your ability to communicate clearly and calmly, both verbally and in writing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Emergency Response team (ERT) and oversee all aspects of site security operations, fire prevention, and emergency response.
  • Ensure all security operations and administrative directives conform to policies and procedures set out by TMMC, Securitas Canada Ltd., and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
  • Perform leadership and management duties, including administrative, training, supervisory duties, and workplace injury/illness reporting.
  • Respond to emergency situations, conduct scene assessments, and coordinate with local emergency services as required.
  • Conduct comprehensive handover briefs to oncoming team members.
  • Review emails and calendars to stay informed about relevant information, procedural updates, and upcoming events.
  • Maintain accurate shift reports and payroll documents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Grade 12 diploma.
  • A valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Law & Security, Police Foundations, or equivalent Diploma from a recognized College, or progressive leadership and management experience and site training in the positions of S/TM, C/TM, and FPI.
  • NFPA 1001 Fire Fighter level I & II from a recognized College, or Introduction to Interior and Exterior Fire Fighting (Completed through Lambton College).
  • IMS 100.
  • First Responder (Canadian Red Cross certification completed within 6 months of hire date and to be maintained).
  • A valid G class Driver's License.
