Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated User Support Technician to join our team at Omni Logic Solutions, Inc.

Job Summary:

The User Support Technician will provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and hardware. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
Work Environment:

The User Support Technician will work in a fast-paced consulting firm environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and support to users.

Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a technical support role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
