Job Title: Home Support Worker

Frances J. Takanen is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being.
  • Administer medications, as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • 40 hours per week, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
