About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transition Manager to lead our Transition Management Office in the Americas Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless transitions from initial sales to recurring Lenovo Managed Services or DaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a team of transition resources to ensure all transition activities meet governance and documentation standards.
  • Provide oversight on regional projects, serving as the project lead on large-scale implementations.
  • Conduct resource planning to support both pre-sales and active transition engagements.
  • Ensure all projects within the program portfolio are executed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering, or a related field with an IT focus.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in information technology and business environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of Transition Management principles and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
  • Experience acting as a liaison between business and IT stakeholders, with strong communication skills to engage both groups effectively.
  • Extensive experience in full life-cycle project management, from requirements gathering through to roll-out.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills with a focus on delivering large-scale projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Project, Visio, and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team across different cultures, time zones, and reporting lines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • External project management certification (e.g., PMP from PMI) preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is a plus.
