Video AI Algorithm Senior Software Engineer

We are Lenovo, a global technology powerhouse, seeking a highly skilled Senior Video AI Algorithm Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching and developing advanced algorithms for person detection, tracking, and recognition in video conferencing environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement cutting-edge algorithms for person detection, tracking, and recognition in video conferencing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into video conferencing solutions.
- Stay current with the latest computer vision research and implement relevant advancements.
- Optimize AI models for performance, considering factors such as speed, accuracy, and resource usage.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as an engineer, with a strong background in computer vision and deep learning.
- Proficient in deep learning principles, specifically RNN and CNN.
- Experience with AI model training and deep learning architecture.
- Solid software development skills, particularly in Python or C++.
This position will be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC. Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. To be considered, candidates need to be local to Raleigh or willing to relocate on their own.
