Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Isis Vargas Manrique Professional Corporation. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hospital/medical facility or clinic. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Debris and Trash: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
Work Environment

Our hospital/medical facility or clinic is a non-smoking environment. We offer a permanent position with 30 to 44 hours per week. The work language is English.
