About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Isis Vargas Manrique Professional Corporation. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hospital/medical facility or clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.

Work Environment and Conditions:

  • Work Setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
