Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Isis Vargas Manrique Professional Corporation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, handle and report lost and found items, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Work Environment: Work in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting, non-smoking environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required, experience an asset.
  • Ability to work 30 to 44 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
