We are seeking skilled manufacturing technicians to join our team in Calgary. This is a full-time position working from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $37,568 - $40,000 based on the hourly wage of $18 to $19 per hour and assuming 35 hours of work per week.

Job Overview

As a manufacturing technician, you will be responsible for assembling and manufacturing components in a production environment. This will involve tasks such as cutting, shaping, and finishing, as well as operating basic hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools with proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and manufacture components in a production environment
  • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools with proficiency
  • Measure materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring instruments
  • Use manufacturing cutting tools, including table saws or band saws, as needed
  • Lift and move materials safely and efficiently
  • Perform general labor duties to maintain a steady workflow and meet production goals

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar environment
  • Skilled in using hand tools and power tools with confidence
  • Able to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
  • Precision in following instructions, measuring, and quality control
  • Comfortable with measurements and simple calculations
  • Able to work cooperatively and effectively within a team
  • Understands and follows safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
