Singh's Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing various types of floor coverings, including carpeting, hardwood, and resilient flooring.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting, hardwood, and resilient flooring
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Client focus
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
