As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will work closely with technical leads and client teams to demonstrate the benefits of cloud technology. Your expertise will be essential in building and introducing clients to automated delivery pipelines (CI/CD) and defining cloud-based solutions in line with industry best practices and enterprise architecture guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with technical leads and client teams to showcase cloud technology benefits
  • Helping clients build and introduce automated delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
  • Defining and implementing cloud-based solutions in line with industry best practices and enterprise architecture guidelines
  • Supporting clients in troubleshooting issues in their test and/or production environments and identifying root cause and solutions
  • Presenting case studies and cloud solutions at meetups, conferences, and technology events
  • Assisting with the productization of internal software products

Requirements include:

  • 4+ years of enterprise IT consulting experience; experience in financial services is an asset
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in large-scale, secure, and high availability solutions in Cloud environment such as Google Cloud (GCP)
  • Experience in cloud deployment templating using offerings such as Google Deployment Manager or Terraform
  • Extensive programming experience in Python, Go, or Java
  • Strong configuration management skills – working with deployment automation configuration management technologies such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
  • Good understanding of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes (GKE) or Docker
  • Good understanding of GCP services such as IAM, Networking components, Managed Instance Groups, and Google Cloud Storage buckets
  • Good understanding of Anthos Service Mesh
  • An understanding of security principals and other associated controls and features in GCP
  • Database experience with either RDBM or NOSQL
  • Technical writing, experience in preparing and presenting technical material to a variety of audiences
  • Experience in working in, and with, Agile delivery teams
