Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Clerk to join our logistics team at OPENLANE. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day tasks related to our logistics services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry: Manually or electronically enter data into our transportation and inventory management systems in an accurate and timely manner, including vehicle information, locations, and other documents.
  • Dispatching: Assist with coordinating the movement of vehicles to and from the Vehicle Logistics Centers (VLC), including dispatching loads for correct arrival designation and completing all related paperwork.
  • Customer Service: Respond to email, phone, and walk-in inquiries, including internal, customer, and subcontractors as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience or education in office administration/accounting.
  • Tech Skills: Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google Suite.
  • Communication Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
