Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at Wendy's. As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced restaurant environment with tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and manual tasks.
  • Standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.

  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
