We are seeking a skilled Privacy Analyst to join our team, supporting our corporate privacy management program and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and internal privacy protection policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate privacy breaches and incidents, determining root causes and identifying mitigation measures.
  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for internal and external systems, programs, and initiatives.
  • Provide privacy information and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of documents for various stakeholders, including reports for committees, management, and the Board of Directors.
  • Deliver education and training on privacy to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Completion of a Business Communications course or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • 4 years of related experience researching and writing formal documents/reports.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing reports to support policy analysis and decision-making for privacy.
  • Demonstrated experience drafting PIAs for technological systems.

About the Position

This is a permanent, full-time position, paid at hourly rates and receiving wage increases in accordance with the Collective Agreement. The starting wage for this position is $34.84 per hour.
