Job Description

As an Automotive Claims Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for insurance clients requesting vehicle replacement reports for total loss claims.

Your role involves handling frontline inbound telephone calls and electronic inquiries from customers regarding the vehicle replacement product. You will be responsible for entering or updating automotive, boat, equipment, and other vehicles' total loss replacement reports on behalf of our insurance clients.

The position requires excellent communication skills to provide a prompt, efficient, and courteous service, ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with internal resources, conduct online research, and make outbound calls to dealerships to accurately produce vehicle replacements for regular passenger vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process vehicle replacements for regular passenger vehicles by conducting online research and making outbound calls to dealerships.
  • Provide level one support by assisting clients with entering new requests for vehicle replacement reports or updating existing ones.
  • Answer questions or guide clients to understand the content of the report.
  • Accurately assess client concerns, ask well-thought-out questions, and carefully listen to their responses to fully comprehend their needs.
  • Take responsibility for all duties relating to compliance procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required; College diploma or University degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Must have an aptitude for math.
  • Analytical and naturally inquisitive with good questioning skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the Company and the public, both verbally and in writing.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
