Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Fergus Esso is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of store appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient storage.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of sales floor staff, including office and volunteer staff.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Accurate and organized with a focus on attention to detail.
Work Environment:

Fergus Esso is a dynamic and growing retail company with a commitment to excellence. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated professionals. You will be required to work 35 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
